In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or school district office. All three self-screeners – the Student Self-Screener, the Employee Self-Screener, and the Visitor Self-Screener – are accessible from the district’s COVID-19 protocols page and are posted on each school web page.

This year, the DSBPC is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity we are providing to all seniors.  All seniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT on Tuesday, October 6 during the regular school day.  This test is being offered at no cost to students. This involves both traditional and MySchool online students.

Typically, the test is only offered on weekends, but we are providing this opportunity during the school day so that your child will be comfortable by testing in a familiar place and so that parents and students are free from the burden of arranging transportation to the testing site.

This opportunity was presented to us just in the last few days and we are unfortunately near the end of the accommodations deadline window.  The accommodations request window ends August 28, 2020 and schools must begin the accommodations process immediately.  Before accommodations can be requested, parent consent must be obtained. If you have a student that is in need of accommodations for the ACT please complete this form online by Wednesday, Aug 26 at 5 pm. This will give us enough time to do our requirements to get the accommodation approved.

This is a great opportunity for our students, and we are pleased to be able to offer it all seniors.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Wall at hwall@pasco.k12.fl.us.
