Testing conflicts will be approached on a case-by-case basis as they are rare.
For all exams, students cannot access any wireless communication devices including phones, watches, and headphones. *Indicates that a test will finish after school hours and transportation will need to be arranged by the student.
AP exams will incur a $40.00 late fee if a student cannot sit for their original exam. For the AP exams, students must know their College Board login. If a student cannot log in for a test, they will have to take the late exam and pay the late fee. Students are responsible for having their login information with them when they test. Students can bring this login information on an index card into the test.
Testing conflicts will be approached on a case-by-case basis as they are rare. If a student has an AP test in the morning and afternoon, there will not be a conflict as tests allow for a small break and they will have an opportunity to eat.
For all exams, students cannot access any wireless communication devices including phones, watches, and headphones. Students will be required to turn in all devices at the beginning of
a test to be stored in a secure separate location. This is a College Board requirement. If a student is found to have a device, their test will be invalidated, and they will not have an opportunity to test. If students can leave their belongings in a car or teacher’s classroom, I recommend that they do so to ensure that there will not be a possibility of test invalidation. Students CANNOT access any of these devices during test breaks.
Students should arrive THIRTY MINUTES before each exam to ensure that they can sit for the test. Students who arrive after the beginning of the test will NOT be allowed to test and will be required to pay the $40.00 fee for a dropped test. Students do not need to bring any writing utensils or laptops as they will need to use the supplies provided by the school – including a school laptop with the lockdown browser.
Transportation is NOT provided for these exams. If a student finishes their test after school hours (indicated by an asterisk), transportation will need to be arranged by the student. Buses will NOT be provided for after school hours testing.
If students are testing through lunch, they will have an opportunity to get a bagged lunch after the exam. They are also permitted to bring their own food for after the exam.
If you have any questions about AP testing, your student’s teacher is the best resource. If you have concerns about conflicts or dropped exams, please reach out to Mrs. Marriott at smarriot@pasco.k12.fl.us.
Results for these exams will be released early to mid-July and will be accessed online through your student’s College Board account.
