Gator Nation, welcome back!

Hard to believe, but the Boys Gator Soccer season is only two months away.  I wanted to make an announcement, to hopefully prepare all the student athletes interested in trying out this year.  First, Coach Lassiter has retired from Land O’ Lakes and I have taken over the program as the Head Varsity Coach.  Currently, the JV Assistant Coach is vacant, but I am diligently trying to find someone and will update when I do.

Please mark your calendar for August 28^th after school.  Coach Jeremias will be hosting a meeting for all those interested in playing this season.  We will discuss expectations and answer any questions that players may have.  The meeting will be in the lower cafeteria.  The season is right around the corner, so please ensure you are taking care of all your necessary paperwork to be cleared to play.  All of this should be completed on AthleticClearance.com.  Every athlete must have an account to be cleared to tryout and play.

The first week we are allowed to practice is the week of October 13^th.  Monday the 13^th is a Holiday, but that week we will have tryouts for sure, so mark your calendars.  I will make the formal announcement of tryout days and times at our pre-season meeting on the 28^th.  Get excited and start putting your work in now, so we start the season on a strong note!!  Thank you very much and I will see all of you on the 28^th.
