The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) is a progress monitoring system that is administered three times per year to track your student’s progress in learning the Benchmarks of Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards throughout this school year. Students in Grade 9 and Grade 10 will participate in the first administration (PM1) of the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) ELA Reading PM1 starting on Wednesday, August 20, 2024. Test Rosters will be posted to the wall of the commons under Test Rosters. Students are responsible for checking the list for their date and location for testing. Your student’s results from PM1 are for informational purposes only, and you will be provided with information about how to access the results after testing is completed.
It is important to note, that your students will be marked absent as they will be in testing and attending regular classes until they complete the assignment. Please allow us 72 hours (3 business days) to update attendance in MyStudent AFTER testing has ended.
