NHS applications are now open.

Complete ALL portions of the application, including the signatures.  Write legibly, giving as much detailed information as possible.  Completed applications are due by Friday, January 31 by 2:00pm.  Applications submitted after the deadline may not be considered. For the teacher recommendation forms, three of these forms must be given to current teachers; the other two forms can go to former teachers or current teachers.  Do not collect these; the teacher needs to return them to us. Please note that completing an application does not guarantee your acceptance into the National Honor Society.  Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or denial in writing. Minimum Requirements for Application:

  • Be a currently enrolled 10th – 12th grader at LOLHS
  • Have been at LOLHS for at least one full semester
  • Have a 3.5 unweighted GPA
  • Have at least 20 hours of community service on file
  • Complete the entire application
  • Obtain 5 recommendations for teachers
