As many of you know, after Hurricane Irma placed Florida into a state of emergency, the Federal Free Lunch Program expanded to offer free meals to all students in affected counties. On Friday, October 20th, this will end. Beginning Monday, October 23rd, students not on the free or reduced price meals plan will pay full cost for meals. If you do not have funds in your account, please visit the Food and Nutrition Services site to add money (below).
Families who applied during this school year and were approved for free or reduced price meals will continue to receive this service. Anyone who did not apply THIS SCHOOL YEAR for a continuation of the program may find that their eligibility has expired.
If you were on a free or reduced price meals program in past school years, or if you believe you are now eligible for free or reduced price meals, and you have NOT applied for these during THIS school year, please be sure to complete an application at the district Food and Nutrition Services site (below).
